Higher Pennance Farm is to the west of St Stephens, which is west of St Awful (sorry , Austell). It lies just beisde the A3058. As far as I can see on my trusty OS106 there is not a hill fort there. That is not to say there isn't but...usually the OS map is good at marking nearly every blip on the landscape.

There has been a lot of protest around the StStephens area over the last couple of years since Imrys decided to expand the spoil tip from Melbur China Clay works. Much of this is due to the loss of evening light to the village.

Things have to be balanced, as many people in the area work in the China Clay business or make there money from those that do.

I have seen nothing in the press down here about protestors or a hill fort under threat, so can't help anymore than this.
