The kerb edge and stone row beyond
looking north westish over Urra Moor-Cold Moor-Bilsdale West Moor- Whorlton Moor – Near Moor.
If you squint a lot you may just make out the snow-capped Pennines in the distance.
The marks on this stone are probably due to the stone being peppered with shot
This + is carved into the last of the large stones of the alignment just before the land falls away into Baysdale.
It would be interesting to track down the perambulations for this estate to see if this stone is named.
