V difficult to photgraph the site! This is one of the stone scatters which lie within the bank and ditch earthwork.
The cist with its circle of cut trees – the large stone we spied was in the woodland behind – a possible outlier?
A little perspective is needed, methinks.....I am small, but not THAT small!

The views are finally revealed!( and I love the way Vicky looks like she is about 18 inches high!)
Access to shelter under the rocks is easy, as evidence of a previous fire and drinking session shows!
Positng this one purely to show just how big a bugger this capstone is!
