A high kerb, a small standing stone, who knows, there are a lot of interesting stones all over the place.
Looking south, to the south west is the standing stone.
Looking south eastish, the stone setting appears to be on top of a cairn.
Looking over Vatersay village, north to Castlebay on Barra.
Beyond these islands to the south, Mingulay.
The remnants of the north defences looking east over Vatersay village.
This looking south, time to wade back across, not so deep this time.
Taken from a different angle, almost hints of single rings.
There are cairns nearby, was this place originally a cairn, normally a sign of cup marks possibly being in the area.
Look closely you might see 5 cup marks, maybe more.
Possible scattered remains of a wall, erosion definitely
Looking north west, hints of a defence or enclosure.
