Great view of the dun from the top of Beinn Nan Caorach.
This stone is on the north east part of the cairn.
A closer look at the cairn, grass covered, field clearence but a large footprint and at least 1.5m tall.
Good placement for both loch and sea.
Chokes at the bottom of the south stone.
A lovely shape to the top of the southernmost stone.
The mpre southerly stone with the possible cairn behind.
We were in the house with the solar panels, superb site/sight every morning.
Almost directly behind is a dun, on the hill.
Looking towards the hamlet of Upper Kilchattan.
The limpets, also showing the way to a dun.
The gardens of the nearby house beyond the trees.
In the background the walls of a graveyard.
The stream is well up due to a lot of recent rain.
A beautiful standing stone, the Allt Cinn-Locha, the nearby stream / river.
A truly beautiful place. In the distance is Jura.
Looking out to Cretshangan Bay, no idea why this photo ended up like this, clouds rolled over is my guess.
The 2 standing stones are hiding behind the trees.
Like days gone past – Drew and SC in conversation :-)
It’s pointing towards the Carse, better go.
Looking north, the stone is very slim.
Interesting shape to the top of the stone.
Almost a victory V sign going on here.
Internal fort looking south east, the trees are on top of a badly ruined wall.
