About 50 metres north of the cairns the forestry has been felled and the view opened up.

Herity published his book in 1974 and mentions recent digging here: “There are traces of recent digging in the centre. Mr. Lynch told me that no structure had come to light in the course of this digging.” I had a good root around under the heather and indeed, there is no sign of a chamber.

Grass-covered and isolated, this is marked as a possible passage tomb. Herity says: “A simple central chamber approached by a passage from the north-east was discovered. It is now filled up with stones.” No trace of either was visible on my cursory visit.
