Moth’s previous 2003 image of Sleeping Beauty (making her look ‘too busty’) was clearly not taken from the Callanish site. This was – evening of 10th June 2006. I’ve added the names of the mountains / hills in South Lochs for those with detailed maps of Lewis.

Moonrise on the morning of Monday June 12th 2006, 12.18 a.m..
The moon is sliding along the body of the Sleeping Beauty as it rises. Photographed from Cnoc an Tursa, immediately to the south of the Callanish Standing Stones. (A magical night, even if the moon disappeared into cloude before it set.)

‘Sleeping Beauty’. Head on right of pic. She’s lying on her back and we’re on her left. Face, nose, breasts, pubic mound, thighs and rest of legs all clearly defined.... (This pic is taken from a few miles away from Callanish by the way, for example, her breasts are not so pronounced from Callanish – but then, I’ve always been fond of breasts!)
