Visited Ladle Hill and stumbled across a very well preserved Disc Barrow on the northern slope of the hill. I would say it is about 30ft in diameter with a ditch surrounding it at about 4ft deep. A lovely spot to visit as the hill commands good views of the nearby Beacon Hill. ginger tt Posted by ginger tt
