Visited 21.3.2009 on a glorious spring day. The barrow is situated in a field above Brandhouse Farm, currently filled with spring lambs and their mothers. A footpath crosses the field right next to the barrow, so access is easy. This is a low mound, overlooking a valley to the SSW. The barrow is higher on the south side (about 0.5m) than the north.

A bridleway runs east-west along the north of the field, and this took me to the site of Oldfield Wood long barrow.
