Taken July 1995: We were camping right next to Calanais, and decided to visit this site as it was easily within walking distance. The remains of the cairn aren’t especially spectacular in comparison with their neighbours, but I’d recommend the walk if only for the views and the chance to orientate yourself with the countryside.
