No, but I did get checked out by a rather hard looking gamekeeper. 'What would there be to poach here', I innocently ask, untold grouse running here there and everywhere.... 'you'd be surprised', he said.
Could be in the Black Mountains with skies like that. Quality photo set, looks like you had a worthwhile trip.
Gamekeepers are a pain................................where else did you go? Or is it wait and see!
Basically a lowland tour.... up the coast to Fort William, across to Crieff and down to the Lammermuirs... not quite Aberdeenshire this time, but nearly.
Incidentally SC, my next comment was 'when you gonna do Pen-y-Fan, then?' Silly me. Only Fan Brycheiniog to go of the biggies, then?
Ha ha ha! Yes, it almost happened this weekend, but alas not quite. Need to do some investigation of buses to get up there.
Plenty of smaller ones to get to yet though!
