Well, it’s a big one, make no mistake, standing 6.25ms tall. From the front and back it seems enormously chunky, but from the side it’s much thinner and tapers off dramatically towards the top.

I think I'm quite taken with the idea of this Brittany place.
Jane and Moth, it's great that you are posting lots of pics of the multitude of sites, and fieldnotes, of Brittany, as it might encourage more TMA-ers to seek these gems out.
Hob, Brittany has certainly got some huge standing stones, not to mention the ones that have fallen over. They just have to be seen to be believed. I was blown away on my visits. Add to that the fact it's a beautiful place, like Cornwall, only the food's better, and, in the case of south Brittany, so is the weather. And the camping's cheap.
