I think this is just great (the way the 3Dness interacts with the light makes it even better). I reckon you've really captured something here about the solidity and and form of the stones. Even though (curiously) it's their shape that you've cut out, so its a negative.. hmmm. Bravo. And what will you put in your book I wonder?! Rhiannon Posted by Rhiannon

I'm trying not to focus on the end result of my experiments, rather simply to enjoy the process and see where it goes.

The question I am asking is "How can design be best used to communicate the modern experience of ancient British sites?"

Rather than any kind of explanation to the sites I want to communicate my experience of them today. These cutouts are me investigating the space around the stones, trying to see things from their perspective.

Lots more to do yet though. Going to go back up there next week and hopefully do some work on site rather than stuck indoors at home.
