The late HMQ’s favourite bathing beaches apparently. We had a nice chill there and understood the attraction. No archaeology on the other side of the isthmus as far as I know, surprising. Will stomp next time, fingers crossed.
I had a look on the other side, nothing much for archaeos to see.
Ta, saved me from that then.. I’d checked the satellite image but you never know. Am on hols away from my books but Iirc there’s a cave between there and Carn na Faire, praps prehistoric and then used subsequently.
