Yup, Costa, an absolute must.. and one visit will not be enough. Ican’t wait to get back, either next month or Spring. As for the vegetation, the place is ‘bracken and briar central’. I hope the stuff I found up the top of the island gets the attention of the island’s volunteer archaeo hit squad but they’re really up against it. Well done Drew for risking war wounds.
Well done, especially in view of the vegetation, and there’ll be more. I’ve looked at Google Maps satellite views and there’s interesting crop marks for a start, both circular and oval, plus field systems. Whereabouts are your finds? High time I put up mine on TMA for Gigha and Colonsay where I’m happy they fit the timeframe but I’ve been too busy with work stuff.
1 standing stone on the way to Chibbich, cup mark rock near the natural causeway, refound stone at Brae House - grid ref like a few on the island miles out
Remote spot, achingly beautiful, great photo, absolutely must visit
A great place - beware of the brambles :-)

They will have at least a couple of additional items and a re-found item to add to their list.

Who do you reckon is best for reporting finds in this area to?
I know the historian on the island and sending the finds and proper grid refs to him and, probably, Trove.
