Looks like the weather gave out on you. At least you had blue skies some of the time for your visit. Uragaig is a really great place and I found a sheltered one too despite it being a bit blowy nearby. They weren’t short of peat to keep snug… huge long abandoned diggings on the next promontory to the north. Looked like there may have been a way down to the sea on the north side but I wasn’t going to venture - mountain goat days over, sadly.
There is a way, but it was far to rough. The Lonely Colonsay book points out a few unrecorded duns, some I must have passed without noticing. Another excuse to go back :-) I noticed a lot of peat diggings, not quite on the Committee Road of North Uist but plenty to keep them warm. The last site of this trip, a cold blustery day, typical west coast - but no real drenchings :-)
