Thank you very much, I wonder if they knew about the massive Dun Bharpa on Barra. On a lot of places on South Uist and Eriskay you can see the hill on which it is located quite clearly. Weather permitting :-)
Reckon I must've been all consumed by the thought of Barpa Langass and Pobuill Fhinn since didn't get here when I came this way, more's the pity. Guess you can only do so much...
Agreed, there is a huge amount of prehistory on these islands, either my legs are getting shorter or I'm getting older.
