Standing Stone / Menhir
In Cornish 'HYR' means 'Long' and 'Ven' means stone.
The stone once marked the boundary of Predannick moor.
It has since been encompassed by a housing estate. It now sits nicely in a shrubbery in someones back garden.
Can be viewed from the roadside.
