Haha costa. Indeed, a small island, strategically placed on the southern entrance to Galway Bay. They built a Martello tower there too, and another 5 kilometres west at Finvarra Head, infrastructural investments, like the causeway, for military purposes. But sure, on the day of John Hume's passing, and with the ongoing softening of attitudes in lots of places, we can only hope that they get back to building causeways of the mind, and take a leaf from us here and our obsession with all our pre-nation-state ancestors.
Interesting tomb on an even more interesting island, risking things crossing that causeway, after all, it was built by the Brits!
