That's such a superb landscape, lovely light too, fab.
Been looking at Megalithic Portal for help but there's hardly anything on there.... Pumlumon's all more-or-less virgin territory. Some of the landowners are a bit narky but just need to be stood up to.
Yes, an area I'd like to get to know. Not very easy to get at from here though.
It's not just the wildlands....even the White Peak's got nice stuff that's not been added to here or over there.
Guess the point of Pumlumon is this stuff's not exactly hidden... impossible with cairns of this magnitude. Much of Mid Wales is underrepresented, to be fair.... south of Pontrhydfendigaid, much of Cwmdeuddwr, unlike places such as the Lakes which seem to have been done to death. Guess that's why the farmers reckon you must be up to no good.
I've found something possibly quite important, OS worthy if verified, not that there's anyone to do it, by deviating from footpath a couple of miles from Arbor Low. I've read here that the farmer's the sort you and I dislike, but maybe he's well aware what's on his land and is being protective. I want to go back and have a bloody good stomp. Guess Ill probably have to make do with Google Earth or summat.
