Nice...wonder if it has bluebells for that seasonal 'bit extra'. Also, thought I'd look at what TMP says about this place and then looked at their 'sites nearby' section. Spital Meend looks good, similar sort of thing...called Lancaut on here, praps Carl's fieldnote doesn't do it justice judging by the pix 'over there'.
Probably so, I've been to two sites with nascent bluebells in the last 8 days so they're a-comin up. Spital Meend is on the list, we walked not that far away from it on the very last section of the Offa's Dyke Path we did back in 2012, but it wasn't enough to take us away from the finish line.
