I can't wait to get back asap..been away waay too long. Some sites in glorious scenery..places for contemplating.
Yep, and if it wasn't for the pesky military we would have been to all of them. A couple of Pembrokeshire's cliff forts are off-limits in firing ranges.
Pity in that case that you can't wander round when Army not in residence as I did at Dundrennan recently...unless there's live ammo risk unlike there.
The one fort is in a firing range used by the RAF, you can get close enough to see it. The other is in a massive tank range where live ammo is indeed the risk.

Not to mention the Ynys Hir stone circle in the Brecons.
