A lovely set of photos tsc. The weather plays such an important part when out and about on how it makes you feel about a place and the day. Sunshine, snow and stones - a magic combination.
Plus..the snow delineates features otherwise indistinct
It certainly does, particularly with low winter light. I'm a sucker for snow, sadly we seem doomed to wet and windy winters at the moment.
Frustratingly I was grounded by the (still ongoing, aaagh) flu lurg when I'd been minded to get out there..but moorland snowfields are only for the fit and well. Hi ho..I think towards the end of this month we may see more of the white stuff though, unless they've changed the long range forecast again
Hope you're better soon. The flu thing has been doing the rounds here, lots of people still have the cough weeks later.
