That's nice, I take it you liked it? I was only up there the other weekend (well, the barrows on Cotley Hill, I was with my mother-in-law who couldn't walk far). Everywhere below looked surprisingly tree-ed I thought, and Warminster was remarkably hidden? There were all sorts of insects everywhere, and skylarks and everything, it was most cheering for everybody. She's lived in the area her whole life and never walked up there before. Never mind eh, she has now.
Loved it Rhiannon! These were taken on two different visits just over a year ago for the recently published 'The Making of Prehistoric Wiltshire'. I was hoping to get some aerial photos with my son's drone, but sadly the battery ran out. A fantastic bit of Wiltshire! Do you live in Warminster, or near, as some of your posts are around this area?
Ooh get you, very good. I'll have to seek out a copy. Not Warminster but further up towards Bath. I love living in Wiltshire. There's lots of strange landscape.
