I found this amazing aerial image of the site of the Devils Quoits on page 4 of ‘Excavations at the Devil’s Quoits’ by Barclay, Gray and Lambrick, published by Oxford Archeaological Unit, 1995. The photo was taken in the 1940s and shows the runway bisecting the henge. But what gets me is all those incredible ringditches. All sadly, now lost to us.
