But the stones are so big that they scare off any non stone heads and the remaining people can be cunningly hidden behind the large stones.

I love playing 'hide the tourist' when taking photos at circles. I had a good game of this last year at Castlerigg. It's a definite skill.
Me too, Castlerigg that is.
Tried it at Arbor low once but I lost badly.
