Another great one. I wonder how much this has eroded because it's a pretty small promontory now.
By the way, there's a substantial round barrow cemetery to the east of this.
Trouble with Barrows, is the map I use doesnt have enough definition to pick them out well. Anything under 15-20m across is either tiny, or if you zoom in pixelly. I did one barrow cemetary (nine barrows down on purbeck) and that came out ok, so I'll try some others once I've finished with the hillforts and enclosures :)
Fair point. Some of these are quite big but maybe not big enough to see at that resolution.
You'll see them, just not that well. Am reading up on GIS and I know there is a set at 4 times the resolution, so who knows what the future holds!
