The superb Ballynoe Portal Tomb, very hard to get up close. This tomb along with the many others in Carlow is a must see.

That's a great picture. The tomb looks like it has just dropped on one knee, seconds earlier.

So how'd you do it? I tried twice before but met hostile landowners. I've thought about going up or down the riverbank. Do tell.
No great hardship in the end, a pretty straight forward 15 minute walk that brings you up to the tomb. You can contact me via email ( I can go into more detail ).
