The Nantlle ridge doesnt look too bad from here, unlike from by the Y Garn cairns.

Hi Gladman. Is the lake in the shot situated in the Nantlle valley? An if so, are we looking east south eastish? And finally, if so again, would Yr Wyddfa then be behind and to the left?

Hi Rayner. We are indeed looking more or less south-east with Snowdon to the left. Technically I'd say the lake is actually in Nant Colwyn, with the Dyffryn Nantlle heading away out of frame to the right.
