I love your photos of these stones in their quirky locations, with people still looking after them. And this one's got a nice crop of lichen. Is the right hand side like a little channel? Or is that just a trick of the light.

Thanks Rhiannon. Yes, it's like a small run-off channel. I only had a cursory look at the stone as the very friendly owner captured my attention with his stories. He reached into the rank water and pulled out some of the coins, stirring up the foul brew. Glad I don't have any warts!
