Great tomb. Love the way the capstone seems to be precariously balanced on the right-hand stone. Pity it's so overgrown. I've been there twice and never had the courage to vault the gate. It's good news to hear you were helped here by the locals. Shame they don't look after it better.
Well done Charles, great photos. This was the portal tomb we intended to visit when driving through Wexford/Waterford last year (on route to west Cork). Were put off by reports of it being inaccessible and on private property so settled for just visiting Gaulstown portal tomb in Waterford.
Woman of the big house whose grandfathers possibly owns the land the tomb is on invited me in for tea, lovely people, met folks from two of the three houses there and they couldn't be more helpful, I had to decline the offer as would have had to hang around for 45 minutes and had a fair bit to cover on the way home, apologise for me if any of you visit the site
