These small wedge tombs are something to see. Your description 'dainty' is apt enough. Shame about the metal support (as seen in your other photo). Is this a recent 'conservation' as it doesn't appear to be visible in photos taken a few years back.
The metal support is not visible without crouching down. It's quite hidden really. It's been there quite a while, at least since 2003: megalithomania.com/show/site/1123/carrowcrom_wedge_tomb.htm
