It does look like a nice stone and site, Have you been to Uist postie? i couldn't see any of your photo's there [or was it before digital], it's a magical hills and water landscape, Barpa Langass and Pobuill Fhinn are great places, and often overlooked on the way to lewis and you know where.
It's weird i sometimes feel i should have held off a bit, i had 12 years of visiting things like a madman thinking i need to visit everything, i could be dead next year, i lived it like it was all going to end, i think that's why i'm enjoying plodding around to the same sites though the year down here, it's slower and my missus hasn't got a van yet anyway [not that we could afford much petrol anyway], i've took it down to costing just a bit of food and drink [and my knees!!!]
I love the stone and I love the location.
Must have been a great visit.
It's in the bealach /col between two wee hills , not typical .
It's often wet but that day was in the middle of fine spell .
It doesn't look like its leaning from here, I thought it was two different stones. Wish I was there right now, god i'm bored.
