Clearly originally part of a much bigger landscape, however, lots of uncertainty as to the original extent and shape of the various alignments

You'd have to say that is very impressive!!
It was made particularly rewarding by the individual stones which made up the alignment, each one seemed t have a character of it own and a tale to tell, although a different age and a different culture they reminded me of the stone graves from the early viking period
Agreed, very like graves from Viking Period, I often think each stone has its own individual tale to tell as well. A great series of photos!
