Peter Knight talks about this a bit in Ancient Stones of Dorset. He calls it Littlemayne circle and all this is under 'Littlemayne Stone & Leys'.

He quotes from Charles Warne's book 'Ancient Dorset' - "April 1728. A mile SE at Prior's aen, was a circle of stones lately broke to pieces by the owner, called Talbot." Also, John Syndenham in 1841 saw a 10 or 11 stone sircle nr littlemayne plus stones scattered across several fields.
Peter Knight found 19 stones when he visited in 93.

Apparently there may have been two circles and avenues...

Peter Knight also mentions a circle near Lulworth which has been destroyed 'somewhere about SY8782..nr whiteway farm.' The stones were removed by a farmer called Bower before 1872 apparently..
