The Knar valley, Slaggyford, S.W. Northumberland. It's about time to define a 'sculpture trail', I think. At least half of the sculptures are Early Bronze Age monuments.

I've just started calling it one of these. There's room for more sculpture - and certainly no shortage of space. The cleanest air in the country - unless Sellafield is leaking.

I think there's another sculpture park coalescing to the north of Bolton too. Not much sculpture there yet...

We found another stone, on its side, about three metres tall, belonging to the Mare and Foal. There's another smaller, upright, stone beside it. Not SMR'd that one yet. In the field opposite to the one M & F is in, due east. I hope it's not cracked...
