No, the problem is the increased journey time of public transport vs. car use (and cost will be a factor to others). I can access such places via car, but not via public transport.


I don't use buses as I've already made mention but know how slow journeys can be by bus by what others tell me about how the services have changed over the years. In my area apparently you could board a bus which took you to Plymouth directly, but these days that same bus takes the 'scenic route' to get there because passenger numbers have fallen so drastically they have to go and 'collect' customers rather than the customers coming to them, if you get my drift! The bottom line is that the journey time is increased substantially.
