Hah! I know nothing about the stone or the pub - was hoping someone here did. My friend said something on FB about it being 5000 years old, am guessing he read it somewhere - who knows, I took it at face value (it was Facebook after all). As I said in my post he's not really a stony person and probably just thought it was an improvement on Premier Inns. Thanks for answering anyway.
