Ahhhh Father Christmas the original flying siberian shaman, in his fly agaric colours "flying" though the air leaving his present's [more mushrooms where he went], even hanging presents around the fire probably came from people hanging The mushrooms themselves around the fire to dry [collected in the autumn], and cheeky rudolph with his red nose, did you know that reindeer eat Fly agaric mushrooms? and you can tell the ones that have by their noses [they're red], the shamans would then drink that reindeers wee and this cuts out a lot of the bad toxins because the animal has absorbed them, the mad thing is that if somebody drank that persons wee, they'd take on the effects as well, and so on and so on, the effects never weaken from one to the other, the whole world could be on the substance if everyone drank the next persons wee [errrrrr] and all from one even weirder person [the shaman] drinking that first reindeer's wee [good all Rudolph eh], but on the other hand i'm sure the solstice was a lot more fun back then.

Of course...it must have been after that when he hitched Rudolf and his mates up to the stones and dragged them to the site of the future henge using the well known command of MUSH. Makes sense now :-)
