If you’re saying that you feel the Ed is being abusive I think you may have misinterpreted his or her post to tiomapan (a long and greatly respected contributor to this board). I may be wrong but I read the Ed’s post to tiomapan as a plea, rather than as a warning, not to rise to yet another piece of nonsensical bait – a plea which it appears he has wisely decided to heed. Anything reasoned was a waste of time . The usual story when the argument is lost , resort to tantrums or whinging when they get a dose of their own bile . The usual failure to respond to any points or even understand the content , characteristically resulting in more abuse . The mention of cowardice was in relation to posting abuse on a discussion group and the “fuck off “ was not part of an argument but an exhortation to stop being so self centred and continually talking about yourself instead of the subject i.e. prehistory , being discussed .
