S'hard to say really. Obviously it's 'A' stone, could be prehistoric, could be a scratching post, could just be a bit of decorative stone, could of been a boundary marker. You'd have to check with CADW really, or maybe find out abut the occupant of the grave, or the history of the land on which the golf course/church is situated.
Hell, sometimes a stone is just a stone :)
