Mind you, the whole holiday - driving up from Southampton via the Lakes, Kilmartin, Skye - was utterly breathtaking from the Lakes onward! Would love to do it again, but next time I'd go from Skye to Barra and work our way up from there... Your trip is certainly one to be admired and envied.
