OK. I've not cross-referenced any of these here, so they may well already be on these pages, but here goes...

"there were a few axes found in various places on the Island on display at Carisbrooke Castle museum. Not sure where they are now - afaik they are kept at the Isle of Wight County Archaeology and Historic Environment Service at County Archaeological Centre" (I believe this is in Newport)

"there's also a long barrow on Afton Down"

"and a 'mortuary enclosure' on Tennyson Down"

"there's about 250 bronze age round barrows around the Island on various sites & in various states of preservation - these good examples of these are: The Brook Down Group,The Mottistone Down Group and The Ashey Down Group"

"if they are interested in iron age, try the Chillerton Down Hill Fort"

"Arreton Down...? Has this been said?"

The above info may make more sense alongside a decent map. :)
