Is anyone aware of whether any professional surveying of the site has been going on? On a much sadder note, some tosser has spray-painted the large standing stone nearest to the circle with a hand silhouette. It appears to have been done with black aerosol paint, which won't easily come off. Never visited but always fascinated by this place being so near to what was my part of the world.
