The only ones that come to mind are at Ballymeanoch , Craw Stone (Wigtownshire ) and Odin Stone Orkney none of which were components of stone circles .
Oh I've just come across this. George, you're into alignments aren't you. This is from the Cornwall Society and they are suggesting the holed stone was part of the outer circle of stones and used for observation. If so, I suppose it could have been moved around possibly?
