Three unis involved in that claim .
I believe they deserve it . No problem with the existence of the pits but they are undated and unexcavated , one can't even be seen from the Heel Stone , in itself is a pretty imaginative use of "alignment " , but their calc is simply wrong in relation to the archaeoastronomy and the loony mid point procession /alignment easily refuted by primary school geometry ,at least that has been forgotten .
