Thanks for your comments Tom, much appreciated. I apologise for keep bumping this up - just watched the final episode about the Cairngorms. Adam Watson, scientist, ecologist and mountaineer made an appearance - looking much then as he does today. A man of distinction.

Happy Burns Night (slightly late) to all the witty and knowledgeable people from Scotland who post here from time to time.
