Yes, Goff, you and Mrs Goff and the two mini Goffs were sorely missed, so too was Resonox who couldn't make it either. But for those who could it turned out to be the best Megameet so far.

So, thanks to Bucky and Loie, all the way from the States; we know why you came and we hope you found what you were looking for. Thanks too for the laughs (we've put your pronunciation of 'Avebury' to the Board and think it'll be approved as a 'variation' on an ever changing theme ;-) To gjrk, all the way from County Cork. Yer a lovely fella Mr g, with a soft Irish accent and a head full of beautiful fine words. We'll be seeing you again soon. To Jane and Moth - never changing and ever welcoming (have a great trip). To Nigel and Mr and Mrs ocifant - it was a real joy seeing you arrive as we stood outside the pub (when we were 95% sure you wouldn't be able to make it). To gentle hamish and his info on the stones at the back of St James Church. To Mr and Mrs juamei; all the very best for the two big events in your lives (along with Goff and gjrk the next generation of Stoneheads is assured :-) To Jim. Nigel's speech on your 'prize' should have the desired effect but if not the Heritage Journal will be happy to run a Worst Prize of the Year feature for you ; -) To scubi; really great to see you again mate, and glad you had a good time with the others in the evening. To Vybik Jon; great to talk to you at last - what else can I say other than *SCRUNGE* :-) To rocket; lovely to meet you, thanks for the cards of your amazing paintings - good luck with those and hope to see you at the next Megameet. To Gary and DutyWitch; great meeting you both and hope to see you at the next Megameet as well. To Mark and Ephraim, now honorary members of the Guild of Stoneheads.

And last but not least to moss, who not only organised this year's Megameet but afterwards whisked me off to a Welsh wonderland of cromlechs, Bishop's Palaces, 15th century farmhouses, mountain streams and woollen mills!

What an amazing few days! Thanks to everyone : -)
