Branwen, just read your post and although you were already pretty much one of my favourite people on this forum, you have just gone up yet another notch.

Thesweetcheat - bus timetables are our language.
I've only been to Lincoln once, my father was in hospital. Parents had absconded to Chapel St Leonards on the Lincolnshire coast when they were probably old enough to know better - they had over a decade of 'being on holiday'. I got to know Lincolnshire very well and it will always have a place in my heart - big skies and far horizons; hardly any traffic except around Skeggie in the summer.
Bypasses up there just don't seem to make sense.
