Plenty of golf courses here. No need for another and no demand either. I have always felt (as do many others) that Mr Trump operates like "a legitimate businessman" as they say. Hard to know where his unknown backers money comes from.
He plays a kind of barely legal hardball you only see in certain movies. The kind of movies which portray the (ahemmm..) business dealings of groups of "legitimate American businessmen".
Trump and his lawyers talk about "going after" democratically elected local Aberdeenshire politicians who voted against his yet to be completed plans for his "luxury resort".
It aint about golf... it is about massive timeshare property development dealings on an estate purchased for a couple of million. Wanna buy an apartment in Dubai anyone?
